Aqua (Water)
Cetearyl Alcohol, a white, waxy mixture of cetyl alcohol and stearyl alcohol, both fatty alcohols. This substance is found in animals and plants, such as coconut and palm oil, but can also be made in a laboratory. Cetearyl Alcohol is used in personal care products, mainly skin lotions, hair products and creams, where it helps create smoother creams, thicker lotions and more stable foams.
Cetyl Alcohol, a waxy solid added to lotions and creams to help stabilize and bind their ingredients together, preventing them from separating into an oil or liquid. It also extends the shelf life of the product.
Glycerin **, usually a mixture of 80% glycerol and 20% water. Glycerol is made from vegetable or animal fat, but also from petroleum. Is a by-product of soap making. Glycerol is used as a moisturizing agent in cosmetics, for example toothpaste, mouthwash, shampoo, hand cream and soap.
Behentrimonium Chloride, acts as an anti-static and conditioning agent. Its waxy texture makes it a great defrizzer and emulsifier. Mainly used in hair care products such as conditioner.
Parfum (Fragrance), this is not a synthetic perfume, but comes from plants and flowers from the earth or the sea.
Isopropyl Palmitate, a texture improver and emollient, comes from plant and animal sources, but can also be manufactured synthetically.
Mel * (Honey), a natural humectant, meaning that the ingredient attracts and retains moisture.
