Aqua (water)
Shellac is a resin secreted by lac insects. Coveted for its binding capacity and glossy appearance. Shellac is used to add shine to nail polish and hairspray, bind mascara, emulsify moisturizers and protect fragrances from oxidation. Today, commercial shellac comes from plantations in India and Thailand.
Glycerin, usually a mixture of 80% glycerol and 20% water. Glycerol is made from vegetable or animal fat, but also from petroleum. Is a by-product of soap making. Glycerol is used as a moisturizing agent in cosmetics, for example toothpaste, mouthwash, shampoo, hand cream and soap.
Potassium Hydroxide, a highly alkaline ingredient used in small amounts in cosmetics and skin care products to stabilize a product's pH. This ingredient should not be inhaled, but because it is so low, it is safe to use.

About the ingredient "Alcohol"
The alcohol in this product is made from 100% natural source and denatured, which means it has less drying effect and no unpleasant smell.
Is it a dangerous ingredient?
Alcohol is not dangerous, but there is a critical caveat: the ingredient can have a drying and/ or irritating effect. Alcohol eliminates the hydrolipidic barrier of the skin that protects us against external aggressions (drying effect). The skin is then more sensitive and can become irritated.
Using products with this ingredient is therefore not recommended for skin or hair that lacks hydration, as it could exacerbate the problem. Keep in mind that manufacturers often compensate for the undesirable properties of alcohol with other, wisely chosen ingredients.
In addition, the Botanical Hairspray is a spray and there will therefore be little direct contact of the alcohol with the skin; after all, the ingredient is known for its volatility.
