The brand stands for beautiful, fashionable fashion, produced in an ethical way from sustainable materials, with respect for people and the planet.
At MHOOM we believe that clothing should be produced in a fair and responsible manner.
This means that production must be ethically responsible and sustainable from start to finish, that attention is paid to social aspects, that the production processes are sustainable and environmentally friendly, and that there is full transparency throughout. It is important that everyone who contributes to the process can work in a safe environment and for a fair wage.
This is exactly what Alchemist has been committed to since 2004: every factory it works with has at least one social certificate, which means that everyone can work safely and for a living wage. Alchemist also likes to work with natural materials. All materials in the collection are sustainably produced and almost always certified. The use of azo dyes, plasticizers and nonylphenol ethoxylates is avoided in production.
In addition to natural materials, Alchemist uses a number of semi-synthetic fibers and synthetic fibers in some pieces, for example to keep the shape better. That's a good sustainable decision, but at MHOOM we go for as few synthetic fibers as possible in our collection, so we do not select these garments for our collection.
The Alchemist collections are made to be worn in different seasons. The focus of the collections is not on following trends, but on high-quality designs that fit well. Essential pieces return, in new colors, in new fabrics. These essentials are tried and tested so they can lay the foundation for a great wardrobe.
