wool tights from SWEDISH STOCKINGS | MHOOM

We think Swedish Stockings is a really great brand. Here are a few reasons why: 1. Every year, 8 billion pairs of tights are produced, worn once and then thrown away. This makes tights the most polluting garment, like the plastic straw of the fashion industry. Swedish Stockings is committed to creating designs that last longer, by using sustainable materials and responsible production. 2. Swedish Stockings is the world’s first sustainable hosiery brand. The product range currently consists of an average of 86% recycled fibers and the boundaries are constantly being pushed by innovations in materials and reuse of nylon waste.3. The tights are produced in Italy, where energy from renewable sources is used and the water used in the dyeing process is cleaned before being returned to the environment. Swedish Stockings is a true pioneer in sustainably produced tights.

The beautiful and comfortable tights are made from recycled yarn, castor beans, upcycled cotton and for the upcoming cold days we have a very nice addition to the range: the Freja (in black), made from a wool mix with 50% merino wool and the Ylva, in black, anthracite and brown, with 46% merino wool.
